Below are 3" or 3.5" wide closed coat sanding belts. Closed coat sanding belts are best used on metal. You can also use these belts on low-resin woods, like oak or veneers, when greater depth control of your sanding is required. (Use an 'open coat' sanding belt when rapid removal of wood material is required, or when a consistent depth of scratches isn't important.)
