"This Style U-Joint Puller works well as long as you tap the top yoke where you are Pushing the Cap out while you use light Impact Gun Pressure on the Bottom OR you will Strip out the Threaded Rod using Impact Gun Pressure Only. I have Two of these ... One in a Service Truck, One in the Shop & I just ordered a Third to put on my Wrecker. They Work well & will Last a Long Time IF you use the Hammer with the Tool. I've had my Two for over 10 Yrs. Now without Damaging them at all !"
