Urethane Supply Company R3-1 1' x 1/8" ABS Welding Rod for Model 5 & 6 Plastic Welder (200PK)Matches the plastic used for most interior plastics such as consoles and instrument panels. ABS is also commonly used in street bike fairings and aviation applications.ABS is used in many interior plastics as well as motorcycle fairings.
It is fairly hard, has a very distinctive smell when melted, smears and gets "hairy" when sanded at high speed.
It does NOT have a waxy feel.
Easy to weld using either Urethane Supply Company's airless plastic welder or when using a hot air plastic welder.White in color.
