| I first used it to repair the cowling on a push mower. It was amazing. I thought it would be a tough job, but the plastic flowed right together. I was really amazed that the head cleaned itself! This was my first plastic repair. I'm going to add it to my business! Rob |

| I have used a plastic welder for many years in my body shop business. I ordered the Urethane Mini Weld Model 6 Plastic Welder to replace my existing welder that finally died. I have used this type of welder to weld many things from horse water tanks to car parts. It is a fantastic asset to my business. I would recommend this welder to anyone. My boys have even used it to weld things for there motorcycles and lawn mower gas tanks. | |

| What an awesome tool and kit! After wasting hundreds of dollars on Harbor Freight junk plastic welders, I finally broke down and ordered this quality unit from Arizona Tools. Even my wife is impressed with the repairs I can make at home. It's paid for itself in less than 2 weeks and I'm not even good with it yet! | |

| I think there should be some sort of shield over the barrel. Of course you have to have some heat exposed, but it's awfully easy to grab or bump the barrel and get burned. Other from that, it works fine. So much easier to use than the one with air. | |

| I never thought that welding plastic could be easier. This mini welder is exellent especially for a small business operator like me. This unit made my job much much easier and also the finishing touches. I will recommend this mini weld model 6 welder to any one who is interested in doing any kind of plastic welding. Its great. | |

| I read the book, plugged it in, and repaired a 10" long crack in a HDPE hardshell suitcase. Worked like a champ. Finished weld was smooth, has acceptable appearance. The welding rod is consumed pretty quick, so keep an extra handy. Also, the tool can be tricky to handle inside a box going around corners - really could use a right angle bit. |

| Urethane Mini Weld Model 6 Plastic Welder w/ Removable Temperature Control works very well to preform strong welds. It makes welding look easy. However, the element is extremely hot and will immediately melt anything that touches it as it has no gaurd around it. | |

| This tool is very versitale. I've used it (along with a solder iron) to repair many different breaks, cracks, chips, etc... in plastic. | |

| WOW!! What a cool tool. The model 6 is very professional. The complete package is very impressive. The USC web site is a must visit, there is tons of info and supplies. Wish list, 1. needs to have the small tube brush for tip cleaning added to kit. 2.more stress on safety, this tool gets VERY VERY HOT!!!! 3. needs to stress practice on scrap first!! Once you practice and get comfortable with the tip motion and hand feed this tool can go! This is a fantastic tool !!! |

| Did a lot of research and read the reviews on this welder and the Harborfreight welder. Decided to go with the Model 6. After watching the DVD I did my first repair on my Goldwing overflow tank in less than 10 minutes. The complete line of supplies is also a big plus. I would recommend this equipment to anyone. |

| What a great tool! After paying a professional to weld my ATV gas tank and waiting a week for the job to get done, the tank still leaked. The Mini Weld 6 got the job done for me in 15 minutes and is easy to work with. Thank you Arizona tools. | |

| Exellent product. I used the model 6 to repair the polyethylene tank on my jeep as well as some parts on a used canoe I recently purchased. As you know nothing sticks to polyethylene. But, with the welding rod and instructions supplied in the kit, it was easy to make a permanent repair to the tank. I would recomend this product to anybody. | |

| When I first bought the plastic welder I was a bit skeptical. I wasn't sure if it would actually hold. I was going to use it to weld a polypropylene fender for my ATV that I had previously tried to glue with a plastic epoxy rated at 4000 pressure/square inch that came off like it was glued together with cake frosting. I got the welder and followed the directions and was amazed when I was all done to find that the weld was every bit as strong as it had been before. I could pull on it and shake it and the part held strong. The only problem I had with the welder was the tip that came with it. It does not leave a very clean weld at first, and takes a bit of practice to get it down. I would suggest breaking some useless plastic first and rewelding that before working in your real project. When I finished with my weld I had to go back over it and do quite a bit of clean-up work with a dremel to make it look presentable, but it ended up looking really good when all was said and done. My friends were all very impressed with the fix and decided to have me fix their polypro fenders too. It's definitely cheaper than buying a new one! | |

| I believe, and know that this is a Great Product, It's simple and it has been the solution, for a few items, that were, damaged, and I repaired these plastics, with No Problem. | |

| This welder works pretty good. The plastic welding concept is similar to hot-glueing, except we are melting plastic instead of glue. I haven't used any other plastic welders, but the Urethane Mini Weld Model 6 did an excellent job fusing a fuel tank on a tractor back together. It is imperative however to positively identify the exact type of plastic that is to be welded, because plastic incompatible with your welding sticks will NOT work. Overall, though, this kit is nice and comes with a helpful instructional DVD. Arizona Tools is definitely a nice and very fast retailer of this product and many others! Fast shipping, secure web site. Great service! | |

| I'm in the process of repairing a car my daughter smashed up. Used it to repair a broken headlight adjusting screw which I was not able to purchase from any store. Also used it to spot weld bumper parts that were glued and spot welded at the factory, which the junk yard had removed. It did the job and was easy to use. | |

| This is a great little welder. It works perfectly for repairing motorcycle fairings. (it's intended use) It gets good and hot, for beautiful welds. Unlike the cheaper models I've used in the past where penetration and bonding were an issue. Thank you Arizona Tools, for the great service and customer follow up. Tom. |
