| Excellent yet inexpensive. My only gripe? The case has a a bad odor so strong that when I put it on the back seat of a car, when I opened the car door later, the entire car smelled. But the temp gun itself is super. | |

| Great tool. I use the first gun at home for everything from testing the cooking temperatures of different cookware to testing the air leakage around my house. You would be surprised the difference in cooking temperatures of one brand of cookware over another and the differences in temperature ranges in your house. We use the second gun at work for checking skin temperatures inside and outside our officer's body armor when they are working in the heat. |

| This is a tool I can use for many things. Already I have proved the radiant barrier paint in my attic is working. A 15 deg F difference from my neighbor's!! I use it for automotive troubleshooting and it works great. | |

| What we have seen so far it is a good unit and we are happy with the product. We will mostly be checking engine heat, drive train and jet drive components heat up. Should be a great assist in our testing of a new marine boat |

| My Raytek is affectionately known as my "Ray Gun". The one I just replaced was 12 years old and had served me well. The new model that I just received is a great piece of equipment...works extremely well. I'm sure I will get another 12 years of service from this unit as well. Thanks so much Arizona Tool...it was a very nice shopping experience. | |

| I race radio-controlled electric model boats. I'ts extremely important to keep track of battery, motor, and speed control temps to prevent costly failures. The Laser pointer feature helps pinpoint hotspots and the scan function allows quick monitoring of all critical areas. Arizona Tool shipped quickly, priced the item right, and definitely has my business from now on. | |

| The temperature gun is completely adequate for my needs. I intend to use it this winter to do an energy audit of my home by looking for cold spots around the house. I will also use it in my blacksmith shop when I am tempering tools. | |

| fast delivery this unit is excellent I use it to measure the ceiling and walls inside the house to see the difference after insulation | |
| Byron, Sun Jun 29, 2008 07:33:21 AM | |
| Great temperature product. I found I now use it every day for cooking. When using the microwave, can never tell if the food is hot (althought the plate is warm). With Raytek, never a problem. Same for reheating pizza on the stove (BTW, this is the best way to have a crispy crust!). But also, I'm using it to insulate my home. Checking to see if the electrical pipe leading out of the basement to the power-pole is colder than the house. Checking the hot water heater to see if I really do need that blanket. You can use it with the fireplace to see if the embers have cooled enough so you can go to bed safely. The only limit on it is your imagination! | |

| Temperature gun was a lot more than I expected. Am using it to check temeratures of many things. Very useful indeed. | |
| Byron, Wed Jun 04, 2008 07:45:24 PM | |
| I borrowed it from a friend and used it several ways. Like many others, checked for cold weather problems and that worked great. But I just found it even more useful when cooking. I can check the temp of a pan of oil to be sure I'm not burning it and then I can check the food as it cooks. Even food being reheated in the microwave is better using it because you can check the temp. Try this for fun...point inside the toaster...you'll be surprised how hot it is. | |

| The MT6 was delivered ahead of schedule and works very well. I am very glad I waited to purchase this model. I test cylinder head and exhaust muffler temperatures on gasoline engines for model airplanes. | |

| I purchased this product as a present for my husband, who is a home energy rater. He immediately discovered that we have no insulation in one wall of our house! This tool will work very well in his business and we were extremely happy to be able to find one of this quality at such a good price! | |

| I like it; very compact and easy to handle. More accurate and precise than I expected. |

| I found the operating instruction lacking. I think a more complete PDF would be in order. | |
| Jim, Thu Nov 08, 2007 11:11:31 PM | |
| The temperature gun works great. I plan on using it to measure the wall and ceiling temperatures to determine cold spots that have inadequate insulation for saving energy. I've mapped each room and noticed that various places near the ceiling and wall junctions are 5-9 degrees colder. Waiting for colder weather to confirm my results. Hopefully this will reduce my heating costs by additional insulation at these locations. Must hold the gun about 12 inches away for pinpoint readings. | |

| Great little tool. Much more accurate than the spec'd +/- 4 degrees. I've used it on every surface I can find and I can't find a flaw. | |
| Mark, Wed Jan 31, 2007 10:31:54 AM | |
| We have found the Raytek temperature gun to be exceptionally well suited to isolating heating problems, and heat loss in a home. It is very easy to 'shoot' each blower vent to make sure there are no disconnected air ducts in the attic. It also makes checking doors, windows and walls for air leaks/cold spots a very simple task. | |

| I wish I had bought this temperature gun years ago. In the two weeks we've had it, we have been able to prevent two vital pieces of equipment from failing from overtemp conditions while online. Thanks Raytek and Arizona Tools. | |

| I've used my Mini Temp Gun to check baler bearing tempratures when baling hay. The gun is small and can be carried with me on the tractor. With the large number of bearings on a round baler, the temp gun is exactly what I need to quickly check all the bearings to see if any are starting to overheat. Works great. | |
| Jim, Sat Aug 12, 2006 05:38:03 AM | |
| The temperature gun provided exactly the features and capabilities I was looking for. Ordering was simple, price was the best I found, and delivery was prompt. | |
