The EZ-Coil™ Rewind Safety System is a patented technology exclusively researched and designed by the Engineering Department at Coxreels. The EZ-Coil™ Rewind Safety System controls and eliminates the high-speed recoil associated with conventional spring driven reels. The uni-directional design, like a clutch, does not increase the resistance when pulling out the hose. Years of research and design went in to producing, what is to quickly become the industry choice in spring driven hose, cord and cable reel safety and technology.
SAFETY - The slower, controlled rewind action greatly increases operator safety, as well as the safety of the people and property in the surrounding area, by eliminating the high speed whipping action that results from a conventional spring driven reel. It is the most affordable and cost-effective solution in preventing personal injury and destruction of property caused by careless operation of spring driven reels in the workplace.
MAINTENANCE - It is commonly known that hose, cord and cable reels are perfect for increasing the efficiency and general safety in your workplace by keeping those messy, tangled hoses neat and tidy. Hose reels equipped with EZ-Coil™ work even harder, extending the life of your hose, hose reel and its components. Moving parts such as the spring motor, swivel, bearings, and hose roller guides are protected from the slamming action that results at the end of the recoiling cycle. Expensive pneumatic, hydraulic and electric tools are also protected against accidents such as dropping the tool and/or not engaging the lock mechanism properly.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION - The EZ-Coil™ Rewind Safety System is a self-sufficient unit that requires no electricity. With no power supply needed, the operator enjoys complete “freedom of mobility” with their application.
Coxreels EZ-P Series Reels feature a high quality, compact design to specifically handle general air, water, oil and grease applications that require shorter lengths of hose. Coxreels incorporates modern engineering and manufacturing techniques to assure maximum product performance. Each reel is supplied standard with a locking ratchet to hold the desired length of hose tension free. With a minimal pull on the hose, the latch will release and the hose will retract and wind in a steady, controlled motion.
