This excellent torch provides a large, variable, and clean burning flame. At its highest setting, the flame (while powerful) remains stable and will not flash out, even when the torch is brought into rather close proximity of objects. I use it to give my grill a jump start - although I would be very careful about doing that since the torch could easily damage hardware because of its high heat output.
