A universal motor, diecast aluminum housing, reinforced mica-insulated ceramic heating element and externally replaceable carbon brushes make a rugged, reliable source of flameless heat whether you're working with freezer coils, plastic laminates, circuit boards, PVC, fiberglass or heat- shrinkable materials.

I bought this because a customer had one which could work circles around my old one, and it is the best I have seen for the application needed...thawing frozen refrigeration coils. I like the hands off possibility and speed with which it melts ice.
