GearWrench 13pc SAE Master Flex Head Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set (5/16" to 1") Customer Review
These wrenches are great. They are better than the standard GearWrenches because the flex heads allow them to be more versatile. The heads are tight and don't flop around like you might expect. Ordering was painless and shipping was good. Thanks.
180-Degree Flex Head features a continuous tension design for precision adjustments.
Needs as little as 5-degrees of sweep to move a fastener.
Continuous tension design controls the flex head.
Surface Drive box end virtually eliminates the rounding of fasteners.
One touch directional assistant.
All metal construction.
Fully hardened.
Mirror finish.
The patented GearWrench ratcheting box end needs as little as 5-degrees of sweep to move a fastener. A standard 12-point box end wrench needs 30-degrees or 6 times as much room.
Continuous tension is held on the head by a spring washer and an adjustable hex head set screw.
One Touch Assistant - by just feeling the edge of the wrench, the fixed direction can be determined.
Extremely strong, GearWrench meets or exceeds ANSI, DIN and federal torque specifications for standard professional combination wrenches.
I consider this the ultimate set of Wrenches. The only flaw is that they are non locking, which would be helpful in some areas, but Im very happy with them overall.

Excellent wrenches, great for tight spots and difficult angles where most wrenches don't fit or operate well. And, the ratcheting mechanism is also a great time saving feature. I have only had the wrenches for a short time, therefore I cannot comment on durability esp. where the flex head is concerned, however, the entire wrench seems to be built well, I am pretty confident the flex head will hold up esp. when the wrench is used correctly and not abused. Also, the wrenches carry a lifetime warranty, so it shouldn't be to difficult getting them replaced or repaired, I would hope anyway.
